Specialty Sands

Fairmount Minerals is able to offer a wide range of specialty sands. Some of these sands are zircon, chromite, ceramics, and custom blended sands. Fairmount Minerals has the ability to blend any of the sands offered. For instance, the silica/lake sand blend has superior performance in core making. This combination result in low binder levels without the need for anti-veining additives.
