TechniSand Incorporated
Fairmount Minerals' subsidiary, TechniSand Inc., consists of three Resin-Coated Sand operations and one Lake Sand operation in Michigan. TechniSand is the country's second largest commercial coater for the Foundry industry. Being located in four different sites, makes TechniSand very versatile and accessible to different markets. The Lake Sand operation was the first Industrial Sand mining facility to achieve ISO 9000 certification.
